Overview

Vienna is so rich in historic value that, in 2001, its center was announced a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Called the Innere Stadt, Vienna?s center is the area of the city most well spanned by holiday makers. In the southwestern corner of Innere Stadt is Hofburg, the previous imperial palace of the Habsburgs. Today, it’s the locale of the majority of the city?s museums. Traveling along the roads of the Ringstrasse provides holiday makers with glimpses of some of Vienna?s most alluring historical buildings.
